Kjersten serves as AATA’s president. Kjersten and her husband, Darren have 3 boys, 2 of which (Nathan and Nik) have played on the AAHS tennis team. TBD.

STEVE HAUG
Steve founded the Alexandria Area Tennis Association in 2012 to ensure that the Alexandria Area had an organization dedicated promoting and providing tennis opportunities. Steve and his wife Kathy have been involved in Alexandria tennis for many years.

Jamee bring experience to AATA from her time playing at Mankato State and working Fred Wells Tennis Center in the Twin Cities. Her husband, Jarvis, owns J&K Tool which proudly supports AATA.

Todd is from New London, MN and moved to the area in 2020 with his three daughters May, Noelle, and Carly. Todd played tennis at Concordia University in Moorhead, MN.

Nancy grew up in Melrose, MN and moved back to the area with her husband, Adam. They have two daughters in the Alexandria tennis program (Addison and Kennedy). In her free time, she enjoys..
Directornicholas jansen
Nick is a Social Studies teacher at AAHS. Nick joined the program in 2021 and serves as its Head Coach. He also played tennis in the MN State Tournament from Foley, MN and played basketball at U of M Morris. Nick also coaches for the AAHS Basketball program.
Levi is a 2015 graduate of Alexandria Area High School. He attended Hamline University he played tennis and his wife, Jordan, played hockey. Levi enjoys teaching tennis, biking, and being out on the lake.

Addison is a Junior at AAHS and plays the girls tennis team. In fall of 2025 Addison and her sister, Kennedy, made the MN AAA Girls State Tennis Tournament. She aims to play in college after graduation.

Bennett is a Junior at AAHS where he plays on the boys’ tennis team. He also plays football for the Cardinals who made back-to-back State Tournaments.

Scott is a Junior at AAHS and also plays on the boys’ tennis team. Outside tennis, Scott enjoys gaming and hanging out with his buddies.
